The recommended dietary allowance (RDA) for magnesium varies by age and sex, but for most adults, it's around 300–400 mg per day, this will include the amount you're getting through diet (leafy greens, almonds and seeds etc).
Just as our diets differ, so will our levels of magnesium, so you can start with 1 or 2 capsules a day and adjust the dose depending on your needs and how you feel.
If you're experiencing symptoms of low magnesium, you could build up to 3 Ready & Rested capsules (375 mg).

You don't have to take magnesium with food, but we recommend it. It helps your body absorb it better, and taking it with food can make it easier to stick to a routine. If you have a sensitive stomach, taking supplements with your food is always gentler.
